Couples looking for a romantic getaway will do well to consider booking tickets to the city that never sleeps, New York City. Not only do you have the iconic and romantic Empire State Building to bond at but you can also enjoy the River Cafe by the Brooklyn Bridge where you can sit back and enjoy the East River at sundown. Make sure to spend time around Rockefeller Plaza and Radio City Music Hall as well as visiting Central Park for a romantic stroll.
Those of you that may not have the desire to sit on a plane for longer than 3 hours should consider Tunis, Tunisia. Though the country has recently gone through a rough period with the attack on the Bordo Museum in March of 2015, it is still a beautiful place to visit and won’t break the bank in terms of flights and accommodation. The Roman Amphitheatre, El Djem, is one of the many Roman remains that you can explore and feel like you have went back in time.
Adventure seekers will really enjoy a trip to Chile in South America. There you can explore Torres del Paine National Park by foot or bike and discover the mountains and lakes in an up close and personal manner. If that doesn’t sound enticing, you could head to Patagonia and white water raft through the rapids, visit Cueva de las Manos (Cave of the Hands) or watch glaciers go by in Parque National los Glaciares.
If you are looking for a fun family holiday, Orlando, Florida is definitely the place to go. Anything and everything Disney can be found here and fun is to be had by people of all ages. Children can meet all their favourite characters while thrill seekers can see how they fare on the many roller coasters in town. If everyone has had their fill of theme parks and you still have some time on your hands, exploring the museums that Orlando has to offer is a good shout.
