Take a luxury cruise from Southampton to Copenhagen.
If this sounds like just one more Baltic cruise, think again. While the Baltic is one of the biggest cruise destinations in the world, with many cruise lines heading for the breathtaking Norwegian Fjords, few do it in such style as ultra-luxury cruise line Seabourn (seabourn.com 0845 070 0500), reports the Daily Mail.
This ‘Grand Voyage’ cruise to Copenhagen departs from Southampton on the 15th of May on Seabourn’s newest vessel, the 450-passenger Sojourn, christened by Twiggy before her maiden voyage in June 2010. This virtually spanking new ship offers 225 large, ocean-view suites with private veranda, four dining venues, six bars and lounges and spa and fitness centre.
Ports of call on this 19-day cruise include Warnemunde in Germany, Russia’s St Petersburg, Helsinki in Finland and this year’s European capital of culture, Tallin in Estonia. One advantage is that the ship isn’t too big to make stops in the fjords, something larger vessels can’t do. Stops will be made in Flaam, Aalesund, Olden, Bergen, Stavanger and Oslo.
Prices start at £4,549 per person for 19 days.
