Snow sports and music collide in London’s Battersea Power Station.
This year’s Relentless Freeze Festival is to be held from the 29th – 31st of October in the disused Battersea Power Station in London. Described as a festival where snow sports and music collide, every year the world’s best snowboarders and skiers descend on Battersea Power Station to compete on a 100m-long, real snow jump.
Watch the experts flip and fly off the gigantic slope, then chill out as you’re hit with some amazing music acts on three stages, including performances from Roni Size and Mark Ronson, that will set the pace for the UK's ‘biggest après-ski party’, reports the Daily Telegraph.
So for those looking for some fun close to home, buy a three-day ticket for £95.25 (including booking fee and delivery) and practise looking cool in your chic bobble hat. Organizers advise wearing a warm coat or jumper and carrying ID in case you look less than your 18 years when buying a drink.
Tickets can be purchased on line at www.thefreezefestival.com , and if you have any money left over, be sure to visit the Freeze Retail Village, where you can kit yourself out with all the gear. Pro Snowboard and ski shops such as The Snowboard Asylum, Sputnik Snowboard Store, Freeze Pro Shop, Decked Out and LCB London will all be offering good deals to Freeze customers.
