No shopping trip in Singapore is complete without a visit to Orchard Road. If you love labels you will love Orchard Road - it is full of designer shops including Louis Vuitton, Dior, Prada, Dolce and Gabbana and many more.
You could easily shop till you drop there and there are many hotels on the street if you do fancy a nap! While on Orchard Road visit the ION Orchard centre. It's huge and has over 330 shops and restaurants. You can shop and eat with a city view, and if you show your passport at the visitor centre you'll get some great discounts from a huge range of shops.
Chinatown is a good place to go shopping if you like traditional Chinese goods and crafts. This bustling part of Singapore is always memorable and you can find some great bargains. You can find everything from medicinal herbs to traditional Chinese costumes, and if you go over Chinese New Year you really are in for a treat!
Kampong Glam is a district full of Malay culture. It is a beautiful spot and full of interesting shops and boutiques. You'll find everything from traditional Malaysian shopping to modern Asian fashions, plus plenty of restaurants and galleries.
Holland Village is a good alternative if you want to shop away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
