Larnaca International Airport is the main international airport found in Larnaca, Cyprus, commonly used as a gateway between Europe and the Middle East. It's the larger airport of the country’s two major airports, the other being Pafos International Airport, located on the island’s south western coast. The airport utilizes no boarding bridges, which means the passengers are transported, by bus, from the terminal to the aircraft; it's currently being upgraded to include more modern features.
Cyprus Airways is the flag carrier of Cyprus and is based in Nicosia; it offers cheap flights to and from Cyprus via its Aphrodite Economy Class, with free allowance of checked baggage that does not exceed 20kg. It also serves meals depending on the duration of the flight, as well as complimentary beverages; Sunmiles, their frequent-flier programme, is available too.
The major budget airlines, such as Ryanair and easyJet, don't fly to Cyprus, but the former is considering starting a route to Cyprus from the United Kingdom; we can only hope they do.
