The Baglioni occupies a Georgian building and while it's impeccably maintained, does not from the outside give any clues as to the opulence and grandeur of indoors. With a cascading fountain, stone floors and huge amounts of white roses spilling out of oversized gold vases, the entrance to this hotel makes a suitably classy impression.
The hotel has sixty eight rooms, fifty three of which are suites. As you may imagine, all rooms are beautifully decorated and fully equipped. All are en suite and have a plasma TV, broadband connection, minibar and Illy coffee machine. The hotel also boasts a spa and fitness centre, a concierge service, Wi-Fi in certain parts of the hotel, butlers, a beauty salon and hairdresser and valet parking.
The gorgeous Hyde Park is right on the doorstep for those who prefer to exercise in the fresh air, or who would simply like to go for a walk and feed the ducks on the Serpentine. The hotel also welcomes children, setting it apart from some of its less child friendly competitors. Expect to pay £260 to £1,900 per night, including VAT and breakfast.
