Magaluf holidays are very popular with British holidaymakers, in particular the 18-30s age group.
Magaluf is on the island of Majorca and is a lively resort with many bars, nightclubs and restaurants. Lots of young singles come here on holiday to enjoy the epic nightlife, cheap drink, sandy beaches and sunny weather.
Many tour operators offer package deals to Magaluf including Thomas Cook and Thomson or direct flights are available to Majorca airport which is 24km from the resort. Check out lastminute.com or cheapflights.co.uk for good deals.
To arrange accommodation in Magaluf, ebookers.com and booking.com are worth a look. These websites have a list of hotels and often offer cheaper rooms than if one were to book directly with the hotel.
There are three main beaches in the resort, namely Majorca beach, Magaluf beach and Palma Nova beach.
The 80's saw problems for Magaluf with binge drinking resulting in violence and anti-social behaviour, but a lot has been done since to get rid of these problems.
Bars and nightclubs are dotted all over the resort but the Punta Bellena area has the highest concentration of them. BCM is the largest nightclub on Majorca and comprises three floors, one can go to a foam, popcorn or water party on the lower floor.
Megalluf also has two water parks, a sling shot and go-karting. Jet skiing, scuba diving, snorkelling, wind surfing and boat trips are also available.
All in all, Magalluf holidays are great fun.
