Looking for a flight from Southampton to Dijon? We have just the thing!
Eastern Airways launched a new summer service from Southampton to Dijon, in the Burgundy region of eastern France, in June this year. Flights leave on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays and there’ll be no pushing and shoving to board as the company uses a 29-seater Jetstream 41 aircraft to fly you across the Channel.
Fares start from just £75 one way, including taxes, so book now at your local travel agency or on line at www.easternairways.com (www.easternairways.fr for our French readers).
The city of Dijon is the capital of the Cote d’Or and Bourgogne region (Burgundy) which has some of the country’s best vineyards, including the famous Beaujolais. Dijon is also famous for its mustard, so you can bring back some edible presents, as well as a couple of bottles of wine.
Eastern Airways has a small network of routes from Dijon flying to Toulouse, Bordeaux and Nantes but the Southampton service is the first to link the airline’s UK and French networks.
Kay Ryan, Eastern Airways’ Commercial Director, said: ‘Southampton Airport is a popular gateway for heading to France and our service will save valuable time for business and leisure travellers visiting the Burgundy region.’ So whether you’re travelling for business or pleasure, Eastern Airways will get you to the land of vineyards in a jiffy!
