Looking at flights for winter? Monarch is advertising a massive sale!
It may still be officially summer, but if you want to bag a bargain, it’s time to start thinking about your winter break. Whether you fancy some leisurely days in the Caribbean sun, or a winter trip to the slopes, now is the time to book.
Sun hotspot specialists Monarch Airlines (monarch.co.uk) are currently offering a guaranteed £40 saving on return flights in their ‘massive winter sale’. If you’re planning a winter getaway, this saving applies on flights with departures between the 1st of October 2011 and the 24th of March 2012, so if you’re on line right now take a look at what’s available.
For example, Monarch is offering flights to Egypt’s Luxor and Sharm El Sheik departing on the 11th of December from London Gatwick for just £108 one way including taxes. With an average December temperature of 23ºC you can see the country’s ancient marvels or go scuba diving and enjoy some balmy weather while your friends are shivering back home.
Or fly to Bodrum Turkey from Birmingham on the 10th of October from £79 one way. The company is also starting a new route from Gatwick to Barcelona from the 21st of October with fares from just £36 per person one way, if you fancy a break closer to home.
And remember that with Monarch, there’s no booking charge if you pay by debit card, only a £10 booking fee per booking for a credit card payment, and a £5 fee for PayPal payments, no matter how many people in your booking. Bon voyage!
