The island of Jersey, off the coast of France, is a very popular holiday destination for a variety of reasons. Jersey Airport is located 7km northwest of Saint Helier in Jersey. There is a regular public bus service that operates from the airport. The number 15 bus runs between Jersey Airport and Liberation Station in Saint Helier which travels via Red Houses and St Aubin's Village. The bus stop is located directly outside the arrivals hall. Taxis are also freely available and operate on a metered system with different fares for day and night. A daytime taxi trip into Saint Helier should cost no more than £12. Car-rental services are available from the airport with most of the big name providers represented.
