In the fast lane: exciting up-coming Grand Prix.
With the time and the money to go globe-trotting, Formula 1 addicts could see at least one Grand Prix a month, sometimes two, and next month even three. The season, from March until November, started in Bahrain and will end on the 27th of November in the buzzing Brazilian city of Sao Paolo, birthplace to Ayrton Senna.
In the meantime, we have the Singapore Grand Prix on the 25th of September, the Japanese, Korean and Indian Grand Prix in October (9th, 16th and 30th) and the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on the 13th of November.
The Indian Grand Prix, to be held at the Jaypee Group Circuit near New Delhi, is a newcomer to the scene but promises excitement with a long straight that can see cars reach 320mph. Air India, Virgin Atlantic, British Airways and Jet Airways fly to New Delhi.
In contrast, the Brazilian Gran Prix, held at the Interlagos Circuit, Sao Paolo, is the fortieth edition of the event. Brazil is where the championship has been decided for the past six years. Lewis Hamilton took the tropy in 2008 and Jenson Button in 2009.
