Sofia, Bourgas and Plovdiv are the main airports in Bulgaria. Aer Lingus have 4 flights a week to Bourgas on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Flights depart at 3 pm and arrive at 8.55 pm local time. Prices range from around €350 to €600 return. Ryanair fly from London Stansted to Plovdiv.


The Magnolia Hotel and Spa in Golden Sands is a four star hotel located just 150 metres from the beach and 15 kilometres from the town centre. Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel and is free. The Hotel Mercury in Sunny Beach is a modern and luxurious hotel located less than 100 metres from the beach. Facilities include a lounge, bar, restaurant and swimming pool. A single room costs €43 with a junior suite costing €88.
