A ferry crossing over the River Wyre to Knott End on Sea, which takes just three minutes, operates from Fleetwood with a regularity depending on the season. The quaint little village of Knott End on Sea is a nice option for a short visit, with lots of cafes and shops for your attention, and a decent golf club for those so inclined.
