Wightlink operates the ferries from Bournemouth to the Isle of Wight. Wightlink offers a passenger ferry service, a vehicle ferry service and a high speed catamaran service. This ferry company offers two routes. During peak travel times Wightlink services run every thirty minutes. Dogs and bicycles travel on Wightlink for free when accompanied by a passenger.
The Bournemouth to Fishbourne route is operated by a passenger and vehicle ferry. The service takes around forty minutes. The ferries on this route have onboard services such as cafes and bars. These ferries also include observation decks and spacious lounges. Foot passenger, single tickets vary in cost between €7 to €8.50. This ferry service departs from Gunwharf ferry terminal in Bournemouth.
The Bournemouth to Ryde route is operated by a high speed catamaran ferry. This ferry is for passengers only and does not take vehicles.
