Stylish cruise ship Adonia may look enormous but it’s the smallest of the seven ships within P&O´s fleet, and is designed to carry just 710 passengers and offer an intimate cruising experience. Dame Shirley Bassey, synonymous with glitz, named the ship at a dockside ceremony in Southampton in May, before it set sail on its maiden voyage, a sixteen night cruise to the Western Mediterranean, including calls to Sardinia, Portofino, Port Mahon and Barcelona.
The vessel, which is exclusively for adults, boasts small ship charm and can reach off beat ports of call that larger cruisers are unable to visit. Socialising is easier and P&O officers and crew are on hand to look after your every need. Sunbathe by day and enjoy live music and dancing by night and fine dining in one of the restaurants.
Cruises on Adonia have been on sale since spring so check out her exciting itineraries at www.pocruises.com where you can also find details of the company’s special offers for 2011 and 2012, winter cruises where you can escape to the sun, and booking early savers for 2013.
