Heading out for a night in Dublin usually means your wallet is going to be much lighter by the end of the night. Unless you have money that is burning a hole in your pocket, you most likely wouldn’t mind saving a few euro while pub crawling around the city. With their great selection of local brews you are bound to find some that might hit the spot. If you are meeting friends and staying for awhile make sure to order the tasty finger food platter as well.
O’Reilly’s Sub Lounge is uniquely situated under the bridge near Tara Street Train Station. This place has a darker atmosphere but is quite a lively spot and popular with the tourists. All week they offer pints for €3.80 and cocktails for only a fiver each.
If you are looking for a good deals mid-week head to Dicey’s Garden, part of Russell Court Hotel on Harcourt Street. Once you pay the small entrance fee, the drinks can start flowing and they are usually priced at around €2-€3 for a pint, cider or a jagerbomb.
Finding a good bar that has decent priced cocktails can be the ultimate challenge. The modern Waterloo Bar on Baggot Street Upper though is the answer to your problem. On Thursdays they offer 2 for 1 cocktails which include beer cocktails like the delicious Black Velvet which is a mix of Guinness and Prosecco.
