On the lookout for cheap Scottish holidays? Look no further!
Whether it’s the heather-clad Highlands you want to explore, or the cheery shops of Glasgow, finding cheap Scottish holidays couldn’t be easier thanks to Travel Scotland at scotland.org.uk.
We found this website very handy when looking for a bargain break in Scotland, because it does all the hard work for you – it compares up to 30 sites including big name comparison engines like lastminute.com, laterooms.com and hotels.com and will search for accommodation in most of the country’s towns and cities, so you have plenty of choice.
For example, we searched for a weekend break in Edinburgh from August 19 to 21 2011 and within seconds the website had come up with more than 400 results!
Simply by sorting the results by ‘price low to high’ on the dropdown menu, we soon had a great selection of cheap Scottish holidays to choose from, including Premier Inn, South Queensferry from £129 per night and the four star Ben Doran on Mayfield Terrace, Edinburgh, from £160 a night.
Each result generated provides at-a-glance photos alongside the name and price, making it much easier than having to click on each link to take a closer look at the accommodation on offer.
If you feel you have too many results, you can easily filter them by star rating, accommodation type, and features such as pet friendly, gym, disabled access, or golf course.
The links for each hotel will give you so much more information, including location map and nearby attractions, plus reviews by previous guests which can be quite useful, too!
