For some, there are few things in life that are better than relaxing on a white sandy beach with only the sounds of the waves crashing on the shore to intrude upon your personal time. If this sounds like something you are crying out for, we've unearthed some phenomenal beaches and here are our recommended beach destinations for 2015.

Northern Tunisia offers 500 miles of beautiful Mediterranean beaches. Djerba Beach is a great beach for kitesurfers, golfers and families. If you grow tired of relaxing by the turquoise water or just need a break from the sun, you can always stretch your legs and go shopping at some great shops in the neighborhood. There are even museums and a crocodile park nearby so no one in the family will get be bored while in town.
Bulgaria is a popular beach destination for many Europeans thanks to the 250 miles of beautiful coastline and cheap prices to match. Sunny beach is the largest beach in Bulgaria stretching 5 miles and it is also one of the most popular seaside locations as well. There are plenty of resorts, restaurants and clubs to choose from around here. For those that want something a little more remote and closer to nature, you can set up camp near Silistar Beach which is located in Strandzha National Park.
Surfers should head to Praia do Amado in the Algarve as it is by far one of the top surfing destinations in Europe. Here lies a breathtaking coastline with numerous opportunities to either work on your surfing skills or to try and give the sport a go for the very first time. You might even be able to catch a glimpse of a competition as they tend to host numerous top class talent throughout the year.
If you are looking for more of a party atmosphere and have a bit of extra cash to spend, book a trip to Goa, India. Agonda, Patnem, and Palolem are all beaches near each other that are equally beautiful and energized. Due to their popularity though, each of them is becoming increasingly more expensive. Arambol, a little further north, is the beach where you will find drum circles, a market of jewellery made by expats and beach parties galore. The province makes for the perfect place to relax and unwind.
