Bag a bargain deal to Egypt.
When the foreign office lifted restrictions on travel to Egypt recently, a number of operators rushed to offer great deals on tours and trips to this fascinating country with its legendary history. One example of a fantastic bargain just waiting for you to bag is a luxury Nile cruise with Cox and Kings (www.coxandkings.co.uk) with £400 off. And Easy Jet (www.easyjet.com) is offering a return flight from London Gatwick to Luxor, flying out on the 22nd of June returning on the 29th for an amazing £153.
If in any doubt, check the Foreign office website (www.fco.gov.uk) before booking your trip. It’s a great tool which is clear and easy to use. Warnings are categorized into ‘advise against all travel to’, ‘advise against all but essential travel to’ or ‘advise against all but essential travel to parts of’ countries. For example, the Spanish town of Lorca in Murcia, recently hit by an earthquake, is still in the last category until buildings are made safe. At the time of writing Egypt is not in any of the above categories, and the hospitable Egyptians are delighted to welcome tourists!
British Airways (www.britishairways.com) and Egypt Air (www.egyptair.com) fly to Cairo and other destinations and Easy Jet (www.easyJet.com) flies to Luxor and Sharm El Sheikh.
