A Yankee Holiday in New York

You’re in for a pleasant surprise on your holiday in New York City; most of its larger-than-life attractions are really as wild and entertaining as what you’ve seen from TV. Better bring your trusty camera to film all the marvelous sights in the Big Apple.

For hopeless romantics, the world-famous Empire State building is the place to be; it's the setting of many romantic films like An Affair to Remember, Sleepless in Seattle, and When Harry Met Sally. A visit to the observation deck on the 86th floor provides 360° panoramic views of the city.

Times Square, once known as a seedy place, is where you can enjoy the makeover done by the World of Disney shopping palace; also here are the world-famous Broadway Theatre musicals, the Virgin Megastores, The Hard Rock Cafe, MTV’s New York studios, and an enormous neon-billboard paradise. The square is also popular for its New Year’s Eve ball-drop party.

For a dose of art and adventure, visit the East Village, Soho, and Tribeca; explore all the designer galleries, art exhibits, and craft shops while hunting for that perfect souvenir.

Head to Brooklyn to see the popular Coney Island Amusement Parks, as well as the district’s beautiful landmark, the Brooklyn Bridge; it's one of the longest suspension bridges in the world.

New York City even has its own Chinatown, which has an array of Asian eateries and restaurants, grocery stores, and trinket shops. You can feast on Dim Sum and other street food at virtually every corner of this part of the city.

New York is the city that never sleeps, so forget about the time and chase all the wonders you’ll find in old Gotham.
